Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sundays, from noon to 5 p.m.
The museum is closed on Mondays, but is open on all Federal holiday Mondays.
We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day and Easter.

Admission
Museum Exhibits: Admission to the museum is free; donations are graciously accepted.

Theater and Simulator: Inside the museum are two opportunities for visitors to get a little more into the action. The Yarborough-Bank Vistascope Theater and the Pitch, Roll, and Yaw Vista-Dome Motion Simulator are $4 each, or a ticket for both for $7. Children under 8 are free when accompanied by a paying adult (limit 2). Tickets are available in the gift shop.

Handicap Access
The Airborne & Special Operations Museum is the most advanced of all the Army museums and prides itself on attention to detail, evident in the accessibility of the museum to all visitors. Handicap parking is available near the entrance, and all exhibits and the grounds are designed for everyone to enjoy. Gently sloping walkways surround the building, and a wide sweeping path winds its way through the main exhibit area. The museum has three wheelchairs available for those who require them.

Groups
Groups are always welcome and should call in advance for more information.  Special rates are available for scheduled groups who wish to watch the movie and ride the simulator during their visit.  School and military groups receive additional discounts, but must schedule their visit at least two weeks in advance to be eligible for the discounts. For further information, contact our Groups & Special Projects Coordinator by filling out an

Your Cooperation Please
The Airborne & Special Operations Museum has on display hundreds of rare and significant artifacts. Preserving these artifacts is a full time job, as time and environmental factors continue to slowly take their toll. It is for this reason, and to be courteous to other visitors, that no food, beverages or smoking is allowed inside the building. Unfortunately, many of the artifacts aren't able to handle the demands of bright lights, and we ask that no flash photography be taken in the galleries. Professional photographers may inquire if they wish to take limited photographs.
